Did you know this?
We feature an Independent Wedding Registry which we are thrilled to offer to the bethrothed of our region. No laser scanners or websites, we’re too small for all that, but we do have a thoughtfully curated collection of useful and lovely products from near and far. We love to help couples find gifts that tell a story, encourage good cooking or enhance table presentation. If you’re interested in learning more, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or just come in.
This is key to know too!
We offer a variety of demos, classes and events which we post here as they approach.
One of our faves is Knife Skills, which we offer monthly through a partnership with the excellent folk over at Urban Greens Co-Op. Under the guidance of personal chefs from My Chef Lara & Deb Hernandez you can learn essentials and tips including the best grip, basic cuts, and how to hone, all while working your way through carrots, onions, parsley and etc. Sign up through the Urban Greens Member Made Demo page, then join us! Bring your own chef knife if you got it (otherwise, we do). You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, you’ll leave wiser but perhaps a little onion-y. Next class is scheduled for April 21.
We offer Garrison’s chocolates made by the esteemed and talented chocolatier Drew Shotts. We pretty reliably stock his most popular items but as word spreads and more people come in for Garrison’s, we can anticipate expanding the options. Good to have Garrison’s back on Hope Street!
How about this?
We get to carry Humble Pies at the holidays, including that most important of holidays, March 14th or PI Day. Check in with us then, as well as at Mother’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and others. These pies are incomparably good and we sell them first come, first serve. So come and get ’em!
